Lastly, the “get-up-and-go” of the accelerator with a 4cyl turbo is impressive to say the least. Backup camera is a must and helps when navigating crowded parking lots as well as trailer camera to keep from constantly getting out of the car to check the hitch. Once you get in the car, it still holds it “truck-ness” of it with hard plastic details and ventilated cloth seats (awesome in the South), but it also came up-to-date with a fully customizable display complete with Google Assistant, Apple CarPlay and the Android equivalent. Much more than I expected from a mid-sized truck. The ability to both tow around 7000lbs, and a payload … of around 1600lbs is nice as well. The LT version of the truck does admittedly have a smaller bed, but for the normal day to day house repairs, landscaping and general errands it fits the bill nicely. Bought the truck because we grew out of the SUV life as the kids are now driving their own vehicles, so now it was time for something more practical around the house.
